Finishes No Factory Paint Option Offers
Vinyl wraps open up colors, patterns and finishes no manufacturer offers, from vibrant gloss to matte and color-shifting. Your car ends up looking like yours instead of every other one on the road.
A Wrap Protects The Paint Underneath
Beyond the look, the vinyl is a physical barrier. It takes the scratches, weathering and daily wear that would otherwise land on your paint, keeping the factory finish underneath in the condition it left the showroom in.
A Fraction Of A Respray, And It Comes Off
Wrapping costs a fraction of what a quality respray does, and unlike paint it is not a decision you are stuck with. Heat releases the vinyl and the factory finish is still underneath, which is what protects you at resale or on a lease return.
Paint Protection Film VS Ceramic Coating
PPF and Ceramic Coating both enhance protection, yet serve distinct purposes. PPF is a thick film safeguarding against physical damage like stone chips and scratches, while Ceramic Coating, a liquid polymer, provides a glossy, hydrophobic layer resisting minor scratches, UV damage, and simplifying cleaning. Each offers unique protective benefits for your vehicle.

We Are Here To Help
Five years is a realistic figure for a well kept wrap, and heat is the thing that decides whether you get there.
A car that lives in a garage or under a carport around Clovis will hold its finish far longer than one sitting in an uncovered lot through July and August. Horizontal panels go first, because the roof, hood and trunk take the most direct sun.
The rest is down to washing. Dust and ag debris that bake onto vinyl for weeks do more damage than regular washing ever will, so a wrap that gets cleaned every couple of weeks outlasts one that gets cleaned twice a year.
A full color change wrap starts at $3,200. What you pay depends on the size and shape of the vehicle, the finish you choose, and how much trim has to come off to wrap the edges properly.
A large SUV takes considerably more vinyl than a coupe, and color-shift and chrome-look films cost more than a standard gloss or satin. Accent wraps, roof wraps and single panels come in well below a full wrap.
Our shop is right here in Clovis, so bring the car by or send us your year, make and model and we'll price your exact vehicle. You can see the finishes and brands we carry on our car wraps in Clovis page.
A properly installed wrap should not lift. Where wraps fail is almost always at the edges, and that is an install problem rather than a material problem.
If vinyl is trimmed flat on the paint instead of tucked around the back of the panel, the exposed edge eventually catches water, pressure washers and car wash brushes, and it starts to creep. We remove trim, handles and badges where we need to so the film wraps around and has nothing to grab.
When you do want it off, good vinyl comes away cleanly with heat and leaves the factory paint underneath intact.
Plan on five to seven days for a full color change wrap, and longer for a large SUV, a truck or a design with a lot of seams.
A fair amount of that time is not the vinyl going on. It is stripping trim, decontaminating the paint so nothing is trapped underneath, and letting the film rest afterwards so it settles into the recesses before the car goes back out.
Our shop is in Clovis, so this is a drop-off job rather than something to wait around for. We will give you a firm window when we quote the vehicle.
That is exactly what a color change wrap is for. The original paint stays where it is and the new color goes over the top.
Two practical advantages over a respray. It is reversible, so you are not committing the car permanently, and it does not affect resale the way a non-factory paint job can. Buyers see original paint underneath.
You also get finishes paint cannot easily give you, like satin, matte and the color-shift films, without the cost and downtime of bodywork.
Bring it back and we take the wrap off. Vinyl is removed with heat, which softens the adhesive so the film releases instead of tearing.
The paint underneath is usually in better shape than the panels that were never covered, because the wrap has been taking the UV and the road grit for you.
This is the reason a lot of people wrap a lease or a car they plan to sell. You get the color you want while you own it, and the car goes back or goes on sale in its factory finish.
Yes. Partial wraps are a large part of what we do, and they are the cheapest way to change how a car reads without committing to a full color change.
A gloss black roof on a light colored car is the most requested one, followed by hoods, mirror caps and racing stripes. Because the panel is wrapped edge to edge, it looks like it was ordered that way rather than added later.
Tell us which panels you have in mind and we will price those specifically instead of quoting a whole vehicle.
Two buckets, a pH-neutral soap and a soft mitt covers it. The technique matters more than the product.
Three things to avoid. Automatic brush washes scuff vinyl and work at the edges until something lifts. A pressure washer held close to a seam is the single most reliable way to get film to peel, so keep the nozzle back and off the edges. And never use a polish or a cutting compound on satin or matte vinyl, because both will put shine into a finish that is meant to have none.
Frequency is the part people underestimate. In Clovis, dust and ag debris settle on a car within days and bake on within weeks. Washing every couple of weeks is far gentler on a wrap than letting it build up and then having to scrub it off.
Four things cover almost everything people ask for.
Color change takes the whole vehicle to a new finish. Partial and accent wraps do a roof, hood, stripes or mirror caps. Chrome delete covers only the bright trim, usually in gloss, satin or matte black.
Printed graphics put a business name and artwork on a work vehicle, which is a different job from a color change and is priced differently.
If you are unsure which one fits what you have in mind, describe the look and we will tell you which route gets there for less.
Satin black and gloss black are the safe choices that suit almost any body shape. Color-shift films get the most attention. Matte grays and deep metallics sit in between.
Two things are worth knowing before you commit. Gloss shows every ripple in a panel, so satin and matte are more forgiving on an older car. And lighter colors hide Valley dust far better than a dark satin, which shows every fingerprint and every dusty week.
We stock 3M, Avery Dennison, Inozetek and Hexis, so come by the shop in Clovis and hold the real swatch against your own paint in daylight. It rarely looks the way it did on a screen.
Most of the work happens before any vinyl goes on. The panels are washed, decontaminated and degreased, because anything left on the paint shows as a bump through the film forever.
Trim, handles, badges and lights come off wherever an edge needs to tuck behind something. Then the vinyl is laid on and worked with heat so it conforms to curves, recesses and body lines rather than bridging over them.
Finally it is post-heated, which locks the film into its new shape so it does not try to shrink back out of the recesses later. That last step is the difference between a wrap that still looks right in year three and one that does not.
